DEGREE GRANTING AUTHORITY

We are seeking the status to award our religious degrees under Florida Statute 1005.06 (1)(f), as a non-secular, religious institution.

Until a positive decision is made by the Florida Commission For Independent Education, we will not accept any students or offer any degree programs!

We are not accredited by any of the accrediting agencies listed by the U.S. Federal Department of Education.

Florida University of Science and Theology does not sponsor visas and it does not accept any government aid.

The common aim of our university is to train our students in academic philosophy, theology and especially religious studies.
Therefore, we want to dedicate ourselves to carry out this goal through scientific religious research.

In addition, we provide services and training for religious organizations.

The qualification 'scientific' refers to the attitude and working method of a researcher who, through a critical approach to the subject matter, taking into account all available data (including source languages/texts) and in discussion with earlier or different types of research results, tries to develop a balanced and innovative vision concerning a clearly defined issue in an independent manner.

Continuous research is also an important part of our mission and vision.
In taking texts and other data seriously and approaching them as openly and honestly as
possible, it helps us also, to understand the holyness of the creation.

Our religious university is guided by a vision of a world, where people of different
faith cooperate effectively for peace and human development.

We are proud to offer educational programs that prepare students for religious vocations as ministers, professionals, or laypersons in the categories of ministry, counseling, theology, education, administration, music, fine arts, media communications, or social work.
